This guide is designed to assist visitors to St Vladimir's Seminary in connecting
their ethernet-ready laptops to the Seminary network and Internet. It assumes
that your computer is configured properly to connect to the Internet using an
Ethernet (RJ-45) connection. Please contact your Internet Service Provider for
convenient ways to check your e-mail while travelling. Most providers provide
access to a web page where you may check your e-mail.
We regret that we will not be able to provide technical assistance to visitors, generally. Please request help through the Receptionist (x0).
Wireless connectivity is available in the Library Reading Room and in the Germack Solarium during Summer Institute 2006. Please note that we offer an unsecured wireless access point and offer no warranties. Please use the Internet safely and securely. You are responsible for having a personal firewall and anti-virus protection installed.
Ethernet (wired) connections to the network are available at select tables in the Library Reading
Room when the Reading Room is scheduled to be open.
