Using your SVS Electronic Mail Account

St Vladimir’s provides its students, faculty, and staff with a standard “POP3” e-mail account. You may access your e-mail from any standard Internet Service Provider, from our public-access workstations in the Library using our “Webmail” system, or by using a standard e-mail client like “Eudora” or “Outlook Express” on your personal computer.

TechSupport recommends the use of Webmail. Student support is only available from TechSupport for this application.

To check your e-mail using Webmail:

You will be shown a list of your e-mail folders (such as your Inbox) on the left and messages on the right. Click on the “Help” link at the top of the window for further instructions. Click on the “Options” link at the top of the window to set your personal preferences, such as your full name (e.g., “Joseph Smith”).
