Forwarding E-Mail

St Vladimir's Seminary requires students to regularly check and read e-mail sent to their @svots.edu accounts. Generally, academic or official notifications will not be sent to any Internet address other than your seminary e-mail account.

From time to time, you may find it convenient to have your @svots.edu e-mail forwarded to another address that you can more easily check. However, the seminary does not recommend redirecting your e-mail as we are not able to help resolve any difficulties that may arise. You are responsible for maintaining the forwarding of e-mail on your account and removing that forwarding as appropriate.

You may maintain your mail forwarding using our Webmail system. To change your forwarding, log on to Webmail (see our instructions on using e-mail if you are not familiar with Webmail).

- Select "Options"

- You will be presented with a list of areas where you may set preferences. Select "Mail Forwarding Options".

- You will be presented with a box labelled "Forward Emails To:". In this box, enter the address to which you wish to forward your mail. For example, if you are jsmith@svots.edu and have an account on another system "jsmith@aol.com", enter "jsmith@aol.com" (without the quotes) in this box.

To remove forwarding, simply re-submit this form with the "Forward Emails To:" box made empty.
